hello, i am an autistic arctic fox creature mostly known as "kechan" online. i currently reside in laramie, wyoming. as with any autistic person, i have no shortage of special interests. the main ones are listed below:

this is one of the main things i like to do. when i was none but a kit, i started creating recorded sound under the name "catHORSE". its taken a few forms since then, but the main thing i enjoy doing is making longform drone pieces under the name "kechan". there are a few other names i use however. i am also behind the label soft sparrow sounds

of course, you can't create music and not listen to it too. most of the music i listen to falls under the general category of "experimental". a few of my favorites include godspeed you black emperor, swans, natural snow buildings, slint, jessica moss, shearling, fripp 'n' eno, chat pile, silver mt. zion, tuluum shimmering, and many, many, more. on this site album of the year, i rate everything my earholes make contact with, and also add lots of music to the site too.

my life dosen't completely revolve around music however, another fixation of mine is editing this thing called OpenStreetMap. essentially its an open-source map you can edit. think of it as the wikipedia of google maps. this has been a years-long obsession of mine, to the point i have presented at the state of the map us edition a few times

while i have not been playing this much recently, i used to be what's known as a "stargrinder"

remember in the introduction when i said that i'm an "arctic fox creature"? i mean it. there are a few more too as well, including the bird and snail, who you may know already.
